Rasner To The Rescue!? May 19, 2007

Well, its about 10 mins until the middle game of this year’s first “Subway Series” and Darrell Rasner (1-2 3.28 ERA) takes the mound for the Yankees.

Glavine (4-2 3.71 ERA) is going for the Mets.

Lets hope that the Yankee’s bats wake up and start hitting again. Give Rasner some runs early so he and the bullpen can pitch with confidence…

*UPDATE*

Turns out Rasner needed to be rescued himself after suffering a fractured index finger after 9 pitches as the Yanks loss again..

Cano had 3 errors, I would’ve sat his ass!

Oh and Johnny Damon, Bernie would’ve squeezed the hell out of that ball once it hit his glove and worry about hitting the wall later.
