Herb Williams is back as an assistant coach again, but when is he going to be even considered for a head coaching job. I mean if Mark Jackson can and he hasn’t even had ANY coaching experience, why not Herb?

Yahoo Sports has an article on how the Knicks are looking into signing Ron Artest. I think this would be a good start if they can keep his head right, especially coming back to play for his home town team.

He’s a 19 year-old, 6’9, 209-212lb Small Forward from Italy who some say has a similar game as Tony Kukoc. In about 11 games, his averages are: 14.9 ppg, 4.2 rrp, 1.7 apg and 2.4 fpg.

Could the Knicks use another small forward? From what I’ve seen on the video clip below, he looks like a decent shooter. But what about defense? Since the Knicks are going to be coached by Mike D’Antoni, I’m gonna assume he knows what to look for in the international players.

The Knicks just cannot catch a break!

Considering the Knicks‘ bad luck in Tuesday night’s NBA Draft Lottery, one would have thought it was Isiah Thomas representing the Knicks on the dais instead of new coach Mike D’Antoni. Technically, the ousted Thomas is still part of the organization, so maybe some bad karma did rub off on the Knicks.

As it turned out, the Knicks ended up with the sixth pick overall in the upcoming draft. Mathematically, they should have gotten the fifth pick, but as we all know, these things never end up going the way they are supposed to. Just think back to 1985 when the Knicks defied the odds and won the first-ever lottery and drafted Patrick Ewing.
